One of the most exciting moments of the AHDRA drags in Pomona was getting to see the Killacycle in action. This bike is incredible.... Powerd by 186 pounds of Nano-Phosphate batteries, producing an amazing 500 Horsepower! When the Killacycle did its burnout it filled the area with smoke but there was hardly a sound. When the bike took off I couldn't believe my eyes or ears ...The Killacycle launched like a rocket but didn't make a sound.... and then when I saw the time on the board myself and all the folks in the stand were in complete awe 7.824 at 168.49 MPH !! The Killacycle is currently the quickest 1/4 mile electric drag bike in the world. This amazing machine only uses about $0.07 worth of electricity for each run and that even includes the burn outs... The Killacycle can make ten or more runs without recharging.. and when it does need a recharge it only takes about three and a half minutes. We had the opportunity to speak with the owner and crew chief Bill Dube before and after this historic run and he is a true inspiration to the motorcycle and automotive industry.
