Despite the threat of rain and dense fog, our Annual Bike Blessing on April 27th for the Blue Knights New York XI was a huge success. About 100 took the risk of bad weather and came as far away as the Bronx. (Even though it was raining when he left home.) Some people just love to come to Sullivan County and it’s even better when you can share it with friends. Our Bike Blessing is one of the more popular in our area. First of all the CMA does a great job with the Blessing and second is that we serve a full pancake breakfast and BBQ lunch. It’s more work for everyone but everybody loves it. The best represented Chapter plaque went to New York XXV and non-Blue Knight Chapter plaque went to our local Rolling Thunder NY 4. After all the delicious food was eaten, (nobody leaves our events hungry), 50/50 was drawn, door prizes were given out everyone ventured home before the rain returned. Now they are looking forward to returning to Sullivan County for our Sept. 6th, Pig Roast and Poker Run, which also includes a full breakfast after popular demand. We appreciate all the people that helped make this event popular and a success, whether it was through a donation for door prizes, workers that helped and of course our faithful friends that participated. Thanks Again and hope to see you on Sept 6th at the QWL in Woodbourne, NY for our Annual Poker Run and Pig Roast.
