I rode from Sacramento to Santa Maria to attend 2008 Motorcycle Madness. Knowing the weather was going to be on the warm side, I thought that I would ride along 101 for a more enjoyable ride. Boy was I wrong. Thank God Santa Maria was in the low 80’s for the event and what a cool event it was. I got to see, and take a picture with Michele Smith and meet some cool builders including Scott Long from CCC. Baggers are the hot thing right now but I sure did see a lot of what I like to call Low-Rider styled bikes. Basically Heritage’s with white walls, apes, and long fishtail pipes. I really love that look and they were definitely well represented at Motorcycle Madness. I saw the coolest bagger that had air ride both in the front and the back from FineLine Cycles. I met some family from Oxnard and Santa Fe Springs that made the trip even more special. I also got to finally meet Jack from HRHLBikes. It was a great weekend and the ride home wasn’t as hot (until I got back to the valley). Well I hope you enjoy all the pics.
