The Friday the 13th Rally has grown from humble beginnings to unexpected proportions. People from all over Canada, the United States and beyond stop by to get a piece of the camaraderie, fellowship, and good times. In 1971 when George Simons gave his son Rupp a minibike, he never dreamt he would be instilling a life long passion in his son Chris. Chris Simons has since owned dozens of bike. It is because of his passion for bikes that he opened a well know bike shop in Dover called “Biker’s Delight”. In 1981 Chris Simons and approximately 25 friends decided to get together on Friday, November 13...the beginning of the tradition...that lives on today...FRIDAY THE 13th - Port Dover!
