Bikers ride to Meijers in Florence,KY. for The March of Dimes

On September 16, 2007 Rev. Ashley Beagle (founder of Dead Men Walking Motorcycle Ministry) led his group and united with 500 other Biker to Meijers in Florence,KY. The ride cost $30.00 and was a donation to The March of Dimes. The group rode about 70 miles down to Sparta, KY home of The KY Speedway. Once we arrived there was music, food, games, and vendors selling Bike related items. The day started out very cool and chilly but, by the time we arrived at the speedway the sun was shining brightly and it warmed up. There were Jeff Gordon Racing Nascar Driving School students out on the track practicing. But 30 minutes later the track was cleared and a Pace Car started leading groups of 50 out on the track where you were able to do 4 laps on your bike. I actually got my bike up to 90 on the straight aways! It was a great day and a great time for all!

Pictured are some of the 500 bikes that were on the ride, Rev. Ashley Beagle standing by his Bike, Bikers on the Pit Row waiting to go out on the track, Rev. Ashley Beagle in the Pits and Rev. Ashley Beagle and Air Force Chaplain ( and good buddy to Rev. Beagle) David W. Leist.
